The Athlete Armor Story

Every great innovation begins with a personal struggle, and for Allen Berube, former professional MMA fighter, wrestling coach, and founder of Athlete Armor, that struggle started on the mats.

Allen spent years competing at the highest levels, boxing, training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and even fighting his way onto The Ultimate Fighter: Season 5. The mats became his second home, but they also came with an unavoidable reality: staph infections, ringworm, and constant skin issues from relentless training.

Back then, there wasn’t a product designed to effectively clean, protect, and restore your skin after grueling sessions. Allen learned the hard way, fighting infections while fighting opponents. Fast forward to today, with Allen coaching young wrestlers and raising kids who also compete, he knew it was time to create something he wished he had during his career.

That’s where Athlete Armor was born.
